Steve Scarborough, forensic scientist
Steve Scarborough, B.S., CLPE, is a forensic scientist (retired) with 29 years with the Las Vegas Metro Police Dept. as a CSI and fingerprint comparison expert. He testified, about 200 times in local and federal courts. After retiring from Metro, Steve conducted forensic training for law enforcement agencies, delivering over 150 two- and three-day sessions in about 14 states for 14 years.
As a Forensic Scientist with LVMPD, Steve testified about 200 times in municipal, grand jury, state, and federal courts as an expert witness. Over the years, he has given many lectures, training sessions, and presentations on court testimony across the country, including at state IAI and International IAI conferences. Steve is a Life Active Member of the International Association for Identification.
